KCAM Radio announces $100,000 grant

The construction project is already under way on land owned by KCAM. The original KCAM studio building – built in 1963 – has been moved onto a new foundation and will be renovated into a three-bedroom, two-bath home. The basement will be made into two apartments for short-term volunteers. Several volunteer construction crews from Pennsylvania and Alaska have completed work so far.


The Foraker Group announces new vice president of programs

Chellie Skoog has been named the new Vice President of Programs for The Foraker Group. Chellie is already familiar to many Foraker Partners. She has been teaching and consulting with us since 2013. Her specialty is helping organizations better manage their financial affairs, and she’s noted for assisting nonprofits that are facing fiscal challenges.


Dogs for the Deaf announces $300,000 grant

In August, M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust (Vancouver, WA) awarded a $300,000 grant to support the construction of Dogs for the Deaf’s (DFD) new Second Training Facility. “We’re ecstatic about this grant award and very appreciative of the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust’s significant commitment to our important work and planned growth,” stated CEO Blake Matray.
