Here at the Murdock Trust, we are fortunate to partner with hundreds of nonprofit organizations across the Pacific Northwest working to help fulfill their mission. One of the ways we do this is by awarding grants, but we have always been interested in coming alongside grantees and helping them build capacity and improve strategy to enable them to do what they do best.
Jeff Bauknecht, grant manager at the Museum of Flight, captures this idea beautifully in the recent article, "Building Powerful Partnerships,” on page 22 in the Museum’s magazine, Aloft.

“The Murdock Trust has made the entire Museum team better,” says Trip Switzer, VP of Development. “All of our grant work has been improved through our association with Bart, Lorin and Romanita, all Program Directors at the Trust. Their thoughtful staff and application process led us to think more clearly about a project’s scope and impact. We serve our constituents more effectively because of our association with the Murdock Trust.”
