M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust

Serving the common good in the Pacific Northwest takes many individuals. We are fortunate to partner with a number of those who have dedicated their careers and lives to work for greater flourishing in communities across the region. We are also incredibly fortunate that those we work alongside day to day at the Murdock Trust, our colleagues that we pass in the halls and chat with over lunch, are equally dedicated to using their skills and time to serve the common good. It is always an exciting day when a new member joins our team, because we know they will play an important role in making Jack Murdock’s mission come to life, and that our region will be better for it.

A man wearing a white shirt and gray suit jacket smiles for the camera.

That is just one reason we are thrilled to welcome a new face to the Murdock Trust. Kelvin “KT” Harrington has accepted our offer to serve as our new Director of Technology and Information Management Systems, following Jennifer Larson-Cody’s departure.

KT comes to the Trust following a national search process led by Lexicon Search Services. He joins the team as a passionate IT professional eager to use his skills to serve the communities of the Pacific Northwest through supporting the technology needs of the Trust. In addition to his degree in computer science from the University of Minnesota, KT has had an extensive IT career across organizations such as American Express, IBM, and TSYS. Most recently, he served as National Sales and Marketing Director of B2Gnow, the nation’s leading diversity software that helps governments and corporations streamline and improve their supplier diversity programs. Outside of the office, KT is passionate about serving future leaders, engaging youth as a mentor and basketball coach.

“I am honored to join the Murdock Trust and I couldn’t be more excited to build on the incredible foundation in place to help advance the mission and legacy of Jack Murdock,” said KT. “I am eager to steward the technological resources of the Trust and in doing so, serve the diverse and incredible group of nonprofit organizations across the Pacific Northwest.”

“We are thrilled to welcome KT to the Trust,” said Steve Moore, executive director of the Trust. “He is a highly skilled IT professional with an extensive background in strategic IT planning and leadership. As we look ahead to the technology needs of the Trust in coming years, we know that KT is the right person to lead us and help us adapt to support those serving the common good. We are excited to see the unique ways he helps us bring Jack Murdock’s mission to life.”

Please join us in offering a warm welcome to KT and thanking him for his commitment to the communities of the Pacific Northwest!
