Michelle comes to the Trust following a position as National Director of Technology Solutions at Friends of the Children, a national nonprofit based in Portland, OR. Prior to that, Michelle spent five years in a variety of IT leadership roles at Fisher Investments, giving her a highly technical and security-minded skillset. Previously, Michelle served at Portland State University in roles ranging from Systems Analyst of Telecommunications to Associate Director of Unified Communications Systems, Applications, & Business Operations. Throughout these roles, Michelle developed a strong technical and operational skillset in software integrations, workflows, processes, and automations that will strengthen the technological capability and innovation of the work of the Trust. She joins the Trust as a Pacific Northwest local who is passionate about caring for the communities that make this region thrive.

“I am honored to be joining a workplace that supports nonprofits serving the common good of the Pacific Northwest – and to be joining a team that is so eager to advance their technological acumen in service of those nonprofits,” said Michelle. “I could not be more excited to jump in and learn from this team as we steward the Murdock Trust into a strong technological future.”
