Arc Thrift Store Moving to New Location in Philomath

The Arc of Benton County, which provides services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is using a Trust grant to finish a remodel on a new building for its thrift store they plan to move in to later this year. The cost of the remodel and property adds up to about $540,000, of which the Murdock Trust awarded a grant for $125,000.

“We feel really good about it,” Arc executive director Diane Scottaline said of the new building. “The traffic count is higher, the parking is much better, the visibility is better … and it’s a much newer building.”
