2023 was a year of revision and renewal at the Murdock Trust. We introduced a sectoral model of grantmaking and began a transition to a new grants management platform. We celebrated one year with Romanita Hairston as CEO and grew and adapted our team to meet changing needs. In many ways, we were finding what our “new normal” would be as an organization.
Through it all, our grantees remained the central motivating force of our work. While we might have been in a metaphorical construction zone, organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest were continuing the good, hard work of nonprofit service. It is this work that creates opportunities for flourishing across our region, and it is this work that we are excited to celebrate today with the release of our 2023 Annual Report.
