We are pleased to share two promotions that reflect our staff's commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth, in service of Pacific Northwest communities.

Elaine Charpentier Philippi has been promoted to Acting Program Director for Education. In this role, Elaine facilitates grants for the Trust’s work investing in education, leadership, and development across the Pacific Northwest and leads the strategy work for the Trust's education sector. Elaine is also managing the work to build an impact framework for Trust grants that will inform how the Trust thinks about impact. This promotion demonstrates Elaine’s continued leadership in the education sector of the Trust’s work, and the strategic direction she brings to the Trust’s investment in impact.

Sara O’Brien has been promoted to Executive Assistant to the CEO. In this role, Sara serves as direct liaison between the CEO and internal and external interest holders, including streamlining communication, managing a complex executive calendar, coordinating travel logistics, and collaborating on cross-departmental projects. After nearly three years supporting external engagement for the Office of the CEO, this promotion reflects Sara’s increased direct management of CEO business and her commitment to supporting external partners and internal staff.
