Good financial stewardship and accounting help the Trust fulfill its mission. As our Finance Department functions evolve to meet that responsibility, we're pleased to welcome Alex Gaiovych as an Accountant.
Alex joins the Trust with over six years of experience across accounting, financial analysis, reporting, and accounting operations. Her background spans core finance functions including budgeting, cash-flow planning, general-ledger accounting, payroll support, and more, along with cross-organizational experience and a close attention to detail that will serve our accounting team well. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Portland State University and is pursuing CPA licensing.
In her role at the Trust, Alex will support standard accounting duties as well as grant finance and organizational contracts functions. She will develop and administer routine processes for our grants team and create centralized contract management functions for the organization so that we can serve our constituents to our best ability.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, friends, and her dog, and finding opportunities to learn and explore new hobbies.
