Nonprofit support organizations, community foundations, and other philanthropic partners provide vital resources and services to nonprofits, allowing them to better carry out their missions and serve the individuals, families, schools, leaders, and organizations in their communities.
Founded with a vision to provide transparency to strengthen the relationship between the public, foundations, and the government, Foundation Center provides an array of services to make information about the social sector accessible to all. Trust support bolstered FC’s public service programs, which includes its online charity database, research and reporting tools, online training courses, and library/learning centers in five major cities.
Idaho Nonprofit Center’s mission is to provide resources to build strong and accountable nonprofits. It serves Idaho’s 5,300 nonprofit organizations’ board and staff members through governance trainings, leadership development, financial management, fundraising, planning, and other topics critical to nonprofit health. A Trust grant helped expand INC’s reach to serve nonprofits in rural communities.
Juneau Community Foundation is one of Alaska’s four independent community foundations and manages funds for local nonprofits, donor advised funds, and field of interest funds, for a total of 51 funds to promote philanthropy and respond to the needs of the community in Juneau. The Trust helped fund a field of interest program officer to lead JCF’s seven field of interest funds and expand its philanthropic giving.
Washington Nonprofits is the state’s nonprofit support organization, whose mission is to provide access to training and resources, serve as a nonprofit sector advocate, and educate about public policy issues affecting the sector. Trust funds helped expand Washington Nonprofit’s program to broaden its reach and provide better support for nonprofit organizations.
